KIM Jaehyeon

김재현은 프랑스 낭시 국립건축대학에서 건축학 학사 과정과 파리-라빌레뜨 국립건축대학 석사 과정, 박사에 준하는 포스트 석사(HMONP) 졸업, 2022년 프랑스 공인 건축사를 취득하였다. 이후 파리 바스티유와 마레지구에 위치한 Wilmotte Associés SA 에서 다년간의 실무수련 동안 2024 파리 올림픽 G.P.E 전시 및 공연장 프로젝트, 파리-생드니, 라데팡스 일대 도시정비계획 마스터 플랜, 아프리카 세네갈 UN 본부 마스터 플랜 - 주거단지 계획, 프랑스 남부 마르세이유 관광센터, 앙티브 바캉스 리조트 계획 및 서울 논현동 주거타워와 평창동 하이앤드 레지던스 PM 건축가로 프로젝트를 담당하였다.

현재는 서울 송파구에 위치한 오비디 아키텍츠 대표 건축가이며 2024년 부터 세종대학교 건축학과, 홍익대학교 도시건축대학 겸임교수로 도시설계와 졸업설계, 대학원 건축설계 스튜디오를 담당하고 있다.

He obtained a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Paris-La Villette School of Architecture and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Nancy School of Architecture. He gained professional experience at Wilmotte Associés, located in the Bastille and Marais districts of Paris.

His portfolio includes several significant projects, such as the exhibition pavilion for the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Grand Éphémère Palais located in front of the Eiffel Tower, the master plan for the Saint-Denis, Zone of La Defense mixed-use residential district in Paris, a vacation house in Antibes in southern France, the residential master plan for the UN Headquarters in Senegal, and the design of a gallery residence (252 units) and a high-end villa complex (18 units) in Pyeongchang-dong, Seoul.

Having relocated from Paris to Seoul in 2022, he currently serves as the head of Obd architects and as a visiting professor at the School of Architecture at Sejong and Hong-ik University.
